How does NeoGraft work?
NeoGraft utilizes the advanced method of follicular unit extraction (FUE) for hair transplantation. This process involves relocating healthy hair follicles from areas with abundant hair growth (typically from the back of the scalp) to regions where hair is thinning or balding. The transplanted follicles are recognized as native cells, promoting natural hair growth in sparse areas. Within approximately four months, patients typically begin to see a more voluminous head of their own hair – which is there for the long term.
The effectiveness of the NeoGraft procedure is primarily attributed to its cutting-edge follicle transplant technology. Unlike traditional hair transplant methods (strip method) that leave noticeable linear scarring, NeoGraft in San Antonio is a superior approach. It uses pneumatic pressure to meticulously extract individual hair follicles one at a time from the donor area. This technique significantly reduces the risk of follicle damage (to less than 5%) with no need for sutures. As a result, patients experience a less invasive procedure with minimal scarring, if any, and a higher rate of successful follicle transplants.
